Pushback Racking

High-Density Storage
Push Back Racking gives you the best of both worlds—efficient use of space and fast pallet access. Perfect for warehouses juggling multiple SKUs and tight layouts.
Why Choose Push Back Racking?
- Increased Productivity
- High Density Storage
- Selective Accessibility
- Versatile
How Does It Work
Unlike selective racking, this system uses gravity and nested carts to move pallets into position:
The first pallet sits on a cart.
When a second pallet is loaded, it pushes the first pallet back, exposing the next cart.
As pallets are removed, the system automatically rolls forward, bringing the next pallet to the front.
It’s a LIFO (Last-In, First-Out) system, best suited for medium-turnover products or bulk inventory that doesn’t require strict rotation.
Push Back vs. Drive-In
What's The Difference?
Push Back Racks
- More selective
- Easier to manage multiple SKUs
- Less forklift travel inside racking
- Higher density
- Lower cost per pallet
- Better for storing large volumes of identical items
