How It Works
Shuttle systems automate the movement of pallets within deep racking structures using battery-powered shuttles (also called pallet runners). Here’s how the process works:
Automated Pallet Transport
The shuttle drives beneath the pallet, lifts it slightly, and carries it along the internal rails to the first available storage location.Pallet Placement
The shuttle deposits the pallet precisely within the rack and returns to the loading face—or remains in place until it’s needed again.
